**PLEASE NOTE** this set contain 2 versions:

  • One version specific to our little kiwi learners with bilingual Māori/English keyword cards and facts specific to NZ
  • One version in English only with facts tailored to learners outside of NZ

 

THIS LIFE CYCLE SET INCLUDES:

  • A mini poster with Monarch butterfly facts and a display heading to place in the centre of your cycle
  • A numbered and illustrated circular A4 sized image for each of the stages of this life cycle: (1) Adult butterfly; (2) Adult lays eggs; (3) Eggs hatch into larva/caterpillars; (4) Caterpillar forms a chrysalis; (5) Chrysalis hatches
  • 5 Matching arrows to help sequence the life cycle display and/or indicate which part of the cycle YOUR classroom caterpillars are at
  • 20 Keyword cards to match the life cycle (could be displayed alongside the wall display; used as a matching/sequencing activity, or as a prompt for further research/discussion
  • Some extra butterflies to cut out and used as further embellishment to your wall display (laminate and fold to create a 3D effect before pinning to your display!)
